Eat Your Colors!

I just read an article from the 2011 Farmer’s Almanac called Eat Your Colors!
“… Scientific studies have confirmed that people who eat more fruits and vegetables, particularly the more deeply colored varieties, have less heart disease, cancer, diabetes, osteoporosis, and age-related neurological decline.

Eat your Colors!

The secret is in the colors.
Increasingly, many health researchers have turned their attention to plant pigments — light-harvesting molecules that selectively absorb certain bandwidths of visible light, and reflect others. The reflected wavelengths are the colors that we see in flowers, foliage, fruit and vegetables. Its the pigments that deliver a variety of health-protecting benefits to the plants that make them…. “

The secret to plants healing properties is in their colors.

I find that so interesting, in relation to Aura-Soma. The concept of Color Therapy also introduces the idea that certain colors do different things for us, and this relates to the color of our food as well.
I just love how we can tie in different tools to come to the same understanding. So what does this mean for you? If you have a craving for a certain vegetable, let your body tell you what it needs. If your eye catches a certain colored fruit or vegetable, perhaps its the color your body needs. Perhaps a big colorful salad for lunch or a stir fry for dinner will give you the yellow red and green you need in your life.

Get the wavelengths of color you need in your food.

And researchers are telling us that the plants are giving us a certain wavelength of color, just as Aura-Soma teaches us the equilibrium bottles are bringing balance to a certain color in our energy system.
So if you notice that you need a certain color in your life, eat your color too!

If you are attracted to a certain color, eat it!
