Do you start to feel like every day is so busy, every week marches on, and you look back and wonder where you made time for yourself to begin living consciously? You start by living consciously by setting your Intent.
Start your day by taking just 10 minutes for yourself. Use special items that signal to you and to Spirit that this time is just for you. You can use music, candles, drumming, scents, whatever feels special for you.
Begin your ceremony: take a few deep cleansing breaths. Ground yourself, feel your body, feel your heart. Check in with yourself, is there any issue that is causing you problems today? Anything left over from the day before?
Take a few more breaths, relax. Can you see if that issue is a pattern for you? Is it connected to a belief? Where did that belief come from? Does this belief still work for you? Or are you continuing that way because it is how you were taught to react?
If the belief is no longer working for you, take some time to change the belief. Start by stating your belief. Then find a way to change that belief into something new. Set your intent to affirm your new belief throughout the day.
Seal your new belief in ceremony, perhaps by writing your new belief and burn the paper, give it over to spirit. Close ceremony.
Continue on your day… with your intent set to create a new paradigm!
